Licence agreement

This licence agreement applies to all software from Broadcast Software (Broadcast Innovations).

1. Licence

• A licence key allows you to use the software on the number of PCs included in the licence (by default one PC at a time), perpetually.
• You may move the licence to another PC yourself. To prevent abuse, the number of transfers per period is limited.
• The trial version may only be used to evaluate the software during the trial period.

2. Restrictions

• Do not share, sell or rent the licence key without our permission.
• Do not reverse engineer or decompile the software or circumvent the licence check, except where mandatory law allows it.
• Do not modify or redistribute the software.

3. Activation

On activation, and periodically afterwards, the software contacts our licence server. It sends your name, e-mail address and an encrypted PC code (see Privacy). No measurement data is sent.

4. Third-party components

The software uses open-source components under their own licences, including rtl_tcp (GPL) and libwdi (LGPL). See THIRD-PARTY-LICENSES.txt in the program folder. For those components, their licences take precedence over this agreement.

5. Liability

The software is provided as is. Measurements are indicative. See also article 8 of the terms and conditions.

6. Termination

In case of abuse or a refund we may revoke the licence; the software then stops at the next online check.
